Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in my CFO Network membership?

Peer Meetings (In-Person)

Each meeting is structured into four distinct sections to provide maximum value in the shortest possible time:

  • Executive Briefings — Gain ideas and best practices on critical topics from experts.
  • Roundtable Sessions — Fast-paced discussions on critical issues executives in your industry and role face, resulting in a number of usable and valuable take-aways.
  • Ex Officio Board© — Get advice on a key issue you face from a personal advisory board of peers who are committed to your success and confidentiality.
  • Debrief and Take-Aways — What ideas and advice will you take back to your office and what changes will you make? Meetings are extremely time efficient and offer a great return on your time invested.

Peer Advisory Board Sessions

In these virtual sessions, which are held quarterly, each member can describe one key issue in which they would like input/advice from the group. Given that each member runs a similar operation, the input received from this session is confidential and extremely valuable. It allows for scenario planning in a safe environment, and many key decisions are made here.

Leadership Conference

The Chief Executive Leadership Conference is a must attend event each year. Learn from world experts like Jim Collins, Patrick Lencioni and Verne Harnish the keys to growing your business and team.

Other Conferences

The CFO Network members are entitled to advanced registration and discounted prices to other world class conferences including The Strategic Finance Summit and The Smart Manufacturing Summit.

Connections Program

Members have the ability to electronically pose questions to other selected members in the network who have answers to the key issues they are facing.

Research

Members get access to proprietary KPI Benchmarking Data and Best Practices Research.

Online Resources and Content

You will receive access to a members-only online resource center with a best practices library and online discussion groups. In addition, members have access to members-only conference calls with leading CEOs and experts and receive a complimentary subscription to Chief Executive magazine.

Additional Questions:

The quality of The CFO Network is a reflection of the quality of our members and your peers. In addition to requiring members who lead companies with comparable scale, we look for members who are smart, willing to share experiences and help their peers, open to learning from others and abide by our confidentiality agreement and code of ethics. Prospective members must also be approved by their group of peers before becoming members.
